POSITION TITLE:         Bus Driver

 

F.L.S.A.                         Non Exempt

 

QUALIFICATIONS:                             

• High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred. 
• Effective communication skills and team
• Valid driver’s license with proper endorsements(s), i.e. passenger and school bus
• Must possess valid direvers license issued by the MS Dept of Education

 

REPORTS TO:           Transportation Director                     

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:      9 month month employment (181 days).  Salary and work year to be established by the Board of Education.  Benefits according to the Classified Agreement.     

 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

1. Safely transport students to and from assigned schools.
2. Complies with traffic regulations
3. Reasonable or needed accomodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

 

1. OTHER JOB FUNTIONS

1. Work overtime as requested by supervisor or district administration.
2. Provide support for other departments as requested by supervisor.
